Kirchner signs new Bulls deal

South Africa full-back Zane Kirchner has pledged his future to the Bulls by signing a new three-year deal.

The 25-year-old, who made his Springbok debut against the British and Irish Lions in July this year, joins fellow defender Tiger Mangweni as the latest players to extend their stays in Pretoria.

Mangweni has inked a new one-year contract.

Kirchner has been one of the stand-out players at Loftus Versfeld over the past year, showing outstanding form to help guide the Bulls to the Super 14 title and domestic Currie Cup final.

“I enjoy my stay in Pretoria,” he told www.thebulls.co.za. “I think my rugby has developed over the last two years, but I still think I can get better and my goal therefore is to keep improving as a player.

“It is a privilege to play with so many talented guys and I want to do my bit to ensure that the Bulls remain a world class franchise,” added Kirchner, who joined the franchise from Griquas in 2007.(source)
